At Last ! I am a JAIBP Qualified !

Alhamdulilah! I have passed all the threee stages of JAIBP. It was a very nice experience while preparing and exploring various fields of banking. But there is lot more to go, because the next stage is AIBP, which is associateship of IBP. For that I have to get banking experience of atleast three years and after that I can take exams of AIBP. After AIBP one can get fellowship of IBP.

The first thing I have experienced after that, at least you can say you know something about banking. What benefits I will get after that.... I am still figuring that out. Definitely it will count in my next Performance Review, but the best thing is that through this I stayed in touch with the studies and kept my self updating.

But as its an ongoing process, so one has to keep himself updated through various sources all the time.... never get stagnant !

  1. I am a bit confused how this testing process is done. As i read here that to attempt stage two we first need to clear stage one. So lets suppose if someone attempt stage one in sept he can attempt stage two in next feb. and does it mean that it would take at least one and half year time to complete?....Can you please explain how you attempted this program?

  5. @ Romee ! yes ! you got it right ! it take one and half year to complete it in the normal course if you go maiden ! I have passed it in about two and half years coz I couldnt pass a few subjects in the last stage and I took the paper again in the next exam.

  6. @ Shah : Whats your education background ! I also found that subject a bit tough , although I have studied accounting in Bachelors and Masters. But that accounting is kinda Cost accounting therefore needs proper preparation. You can use the recommended books and old papers if you have already studies this subject. If not , you must have to take tuition in order to pass it in one Go ! its not that kind of subject that you study two hours on week end and you pass ! :) So wish you all the best ! By the way in which city you are ?
